How does the process of contracting with Kathleen Baker Photography work?

What areas do you serve?
~ I'll pretty much go anywhere to take pictures, but there is a fee involved if that location is more than 30 minutes out of downtown Louisville, Kentucky. I charge $1 per mile (one direction) for traveling. If you are more than 3 hours away, there will generally be an overnight stay involved which will add to the costs.
How much wedding coverage do we need?
~ Many couples will want approximately 6 -10 hours of photography (1-2 hours for engagement portraits, 1-2 hours at rehearsal, 5-6 hours on the wedding day) for a total of around $1000-$1500.
~ For coverage of just the "main events" of the big day, a couple may opt for a more budgeted approach to photography coverage. The vast majority of weddings can be covered in 4-6 hours on the event day. I strongly advise against planning for less than 6 hours.

How will I get my Images?
~ Within 4 weeks, photos will be uploaded to Walgreens or Shutterfly. You can then order your prints from that vendor. I will send you an e-mail notification that the pictures are ready and can be ordered directly from the site of your choosing. You'll receive all acceptable images on CD. You will also receive a photographers copyright release so you can print their own pictures at your leisure in the quantity that you desire.
~After you email me to let me know that you are satisfied with your pictures and that we don't need to make any changes, you will receive a full resolution CD with the full resolution digital negatives (pictures on CDs) of all acceptable images.
For all events including Weddings, Receptions, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Graduations, Family Reunions, etc... It is usually best to plan to have the photography start at least 1 hour before the actual event and to run thru the entire celebration.
