Upper Crust is the best catering I have ever had. One of my assistants is a vegetarian and there was no lack in variation of food for her on the menu. There was so much good food that I didn't even notice that I only had one meat item on my plate. I strongly support Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep, an all volunteer photography organization dedicated to helping families who have lost an infant.

Star Cruises The Star is a great place to get married and has more flair than a shore bound location. The brides that have used it have all recommended it.
A Cup Of Sunshine Tea House & Cafe While they have not hosted a reception at A Cup of Sunshine; if I were having a semi formal reception for 50 or so this is where I would have it. If you are a little on the non-traditional side and looking for a beautiful location for a small reception I strongly suggest calling them. The food is vegetation and for those us who aren't veggie types you won't miss it, because the food is so good and the owners are delightful. The teas are truly a thing of beauty, rather than drinking tea I felt that I was drinking an exotic nectar. Really, I hate to gush on like this but you have to experience it to appreciate it. Having lunch there was one of the most wholly satisfying experiences I have had in a long time.

Ministers... I understand that this is a deeply personal thing but if you are looking for one I highly recommend Rev. Lin Schussler-Williams. She is an ordained interfaith minister and I think she is a lovely human being. Lin can be reached at 502.379.1246
DJ's... B&C Sound is the business of mobile DJ Brian Walker fondly called the Reverend Music because he happens to be an ordained minister. It seems DJ's fall into 2 categories; either they are Howard Stern Wannabees or guys who don't know how to have fun while being respectful and polite. I found Brian to be a lot of fun and totally appropriate for families at a reception. Brian is based in E-town KY but does Louisville and Lexington weddings also. The Reverend Music can be reached at 270.769.5939. Oh yeah, and he has the best DJ voice!
